My Conditions

Hello pretty darlings,
Thank you for visiting my page; and thank you for wanting to learn more about the conditions that affect and at times limit my every day life. I will update this page as much as I can, and try to link to outside sources that will help explain better than I can!

My primary diagnosis is Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, it's a connective tissue disease that makes my joints to loose. This causes numerous issues, but possibly the most frustrating and painful is the joints popping out of place. Sometimes it isn't painful but uncomfortable and feels ''wrong''. If you try to imagine your body being made out of wet noodles, my body is constantly exhausted from just holding myself together. The exhaustion is probably the second most frustrating and debilitating thing about this diagnosis. Pain management and pacing along with physical therapy to help strengthen the area's that can be are what I do to manage.

Chiari Malformation: Chiari Malformation is problem with the way your skull is formed, it's flat at the back where as it should be round; this causes my brain to ''fall'' beyond the skull line and into my spine. This can cause a number of dangerous, frustrating, and painful neurological and physical symptoms.

Hyperadrenic Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome: A very frustrating condition, my autonomic nervous system causing my heart rate to reach over 100 beats per min and my blood pressure to tank, then my brain makes me faint to get the blood flow back. In addition to this, my body produces an overabundance of adrenaline constantly, making it difficult to sleep and meaning I jump at every little noise.
